Data Analyst (Full Time) – Woodlands Medical Specialists is currently seeking a Data Analyst. The primary role of the Data Analyst is to provide recurring and ad hoc financial reporting, information, and analyses to members of management. Major Responsibilities: Compiles data for various administrative reports, prepares /summarizes information from raw data using spreadsheets or other software, requires the ability to create mathematical computations in spreadsheets and convert to presentation level materials, works autonomously and collaboratively with report requestors, providing guidance to define report requirements and validate results, works collaboratively across departments to understand and meet the organization’s clinical quality analytic needs, assists with maintenance of practice management and EMR systems, assists with new employee onboarding and special projects. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field, science/social sciences, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or public/business administration, strong Excel including creating macros and SQL skills, experience working with databases, large data sets, multiple data sources and interpreting complex data to create meaningful information, maintains strong attention to details and prioritizes workload while meeting deliverables and expectations, exhibits critical thinking and problem solving skills, excellent organization and people skills.
Medical Assistant (Full Time) – Dynamic Medical Assistant needed to work full time in our growing specialty divisions. Major Responsibilities: Triage patients in clinic, assist with and set-up procedures, update patient history, prep charts for upcoming appointments, ensure efficient clinic flow, and proficient with EMR. Qualifications: MA certified required, certification preferred, ability to multi-task, detailed oriented, excellent organizational and people skills. Prior urology experience a plus.
Medical Secretary/Receptionist (Full Time) – We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to relay the most positive and professional image possible to patients visiting our practice. This person will be responsible for the checkin and checkout of patients along with patient information updates, insurance verification, and some collections. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required.
Revenue Cycle Manager (Full Time) – Woodlands Medical Specialists is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee billing operations for a large multi-specialty practice and work closely with relevant departments to coordinate all aspects of the revenue cycle and billing process. This includes day to day operations of all related sub-departments such as: eligibility, pre-authorization, time of service collections of copays and deductibles, coding of services, charge-adjustment-payment posting, accounts receivable, appeals process, aging collections, cash reconciliations, and reporting all the above on a regular basis to administrators, providers and board of directors. This person must be an effective leader and team player and have the ability manage multiple simultaneous tasks. He/she must possess strong communication skills with ability to maintain open communication with administration, physicians, managers and internal employees as needed. This desired candidate must demonstrate flexibility in a changing environment; effectively managing time through strong organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize and work toward results with a high with a high emphasis on quality.
