Accounts Receivable Specialist – Woodlands Medical Specialists is currently seeking to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist Position in our billing department. *At least one year of prior physician office billing experience is required. Applicants must display a positive attitude, possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, as well as, work independently.  Responsibilities include: Monitoring claims to ensure timely processing, working all denials, completing appeals, writing letters, and reviewing medical records for medical necessity.

Coder/Biller – Responsibilities include medical coding for a multispecialty practice. Process includes reviewing medical records for medical necessity and monitoring payer sites to stay current with changes. Oncology, Urology, Primary Care, Radiation Oncology or Imaging experience helpful.

Medical Assistant – Dynamic Medical Assistants needed to work part and full time in our growing specialty divisions. Medical assistants interview and triage patients preparing them for their office visit with our healthcare providers as well as perform various procedures such as EKG, spirometry, ear lavage, etc. Team players with excellent interpersonal and patient care skills will be the most successful candidates.

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to enhance our growing Primary Care Division.  The ideal candidate will offer compassion toward patients and possess a drive for efficient, quality and patient-centered care.  Experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Cardiology is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.  Florida licensure is required for all positions when applicable.

Phlebotomist/Medical Records – We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist with a shared position in medical records for fast paced, high volume office. Responsible for performing routine and stat blood draws, entering orders in computer, correctly labeling and processing specimens, answering phones, and scanning records. Must have computer skills and knowledge of routine lab test requirements. Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and reliability are essential. Attention to detail and ability to multitask are a must. Hours varied. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
