As a former emergency department charge nurse, Brent Kiser knows how medical issues run the spectrum from acute to chronic. Now, he is bringing that understanding and experience to our patients as a nurse practitioner for our Woodlands Urology division. Brent also brings a personal interest in Urology: Having had several men in his family diagnosed with prostate cancer, he has seen firsthand the importance of screening and treatment.
Brent attended Troy University in Alabama, where he earned a BS in Nursing, followed by an MS in Nursing. He also holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. Previously, Brent worked at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama, and he is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
After visiting family in this area for several years, Brent recently decided to make Pensacola his home. He enjoys fishing, going to the beach and traveling – which sometimes includes leaving town to cheer on the Florida Gators.
