The Hematology-Oncology division of Woodlands Medical Specialists provides patients with access to high quality, individualized cancer treatment in Pensacola, Florida.

Our team of dedicated physicians provides the latest in cancer treatment, utilizing the most cutting-edge diagnostic tests, treatment plans and imaging technologies. Our team works collaboratively with other specialists in our practice, and in the community, to help expedite the healing process and get you started on the road to recovery.

THE WOODLANDS WAY FOR ONCOLOGY CARE

Woodlands Medical Specialists hosts clinical trials for oncology research, ensuring that our physicians are up-to-date on the latest findings in cancer treatment, and to accelerate the field of oncology.

All of our oncology physicians are board certified, and are hand-selected by our practice to ensure that our team is made up experts in the field of oncology care.

Our oncologists meet weekly to share knowledge and discuss some of their most complex oncology cases. These meetings include specialists from inside and outside of our practice, including researchers, pathologists, radiologists, and more to ensure that patients are receiving the very best, evidence-based treatment plans possible.

Our practice offers onsite laboratory and diagnostic imaging to ensure that our physicians have the latest and quickest access to our patient’s health information. This also allows for patients to receive the care they need in a quick and convenient manner, saving time and energy for our patients.

Woodlands offers onsite treatment for cancer, including immunotherapy, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Our infusion suite is staffed by knowledgeable nurses to help the cancer treatment process go as smoothly as possible.  The suite is also located beside our oncology division for convenient access for our patients and physicians.

Woodlands offers onsite medication dispensary so that our patients can order and pick up their medications directly from our dedicated oncology team. This allows our physicians to have quick access to our patient’s medication regimen, and saves our patients a trip to the pharmacy!

Our dedicated concierge team help every Woodlands patient feel welcome and cared for. This team is always available to assist patients when needed, and can help patients with transportation to and from our parking lot, to their appointments, and is available for questions. They offer a warm welcome at every visit.

Our patient care coordinators work with patients to ensure their treatment plan is covered by insurance, help arrange payment plans, and to answer questions about the treatment process when needed. We understand that cancer treatment can be stressful, and our dedicated team of patient care coordinators is always available to help you navigate the healthcare system.
